Update the agreement once you have a Canadian bank account

SpacesShared uses Interac E-Transfer to collect the monthly rental payment, which requires a Canadian bank account. If you do not yet have a Canadian bank account, we suggest opening one at your earliest convenience. If you are not planning to open one, your rent will be processed via PayPal (with an additional 3% processing charge).

If you have opened a Canadian bank account, you can follow the steps below to indicate this. Once updated, we will send you monthly E-Transfer requests for your rental payments 4 days before the end of every month — no processing fees.

To update bank account information

1. Login to SpacesShared with your email address and password.
2. Navigate to Homeshare Agreements in the left hand side menu.
3. On the agreement card you will see a "Financials" button.
4. Click on that to indicate that you have a Canadian bank account so that we may send you Interac E-Transfer requests for rental payments.
5. After you update it, click on Save.
