Setting up your signature

Create your digital signature for use on Homeshare Agreements. Drawn or typed, stored securely.

When you generate documents on SpacesShared, like Homeshare Agreements, you'll need to add a digital signature. Your digital signature is securely stored on our servers and will only be used for the documents you generate on our platform. Nobody, including our staff, can access your signature without your permission.

You're in complete control of where and when your signature is used.

To update your signature

  1. Go to https://www.spacesshared.ca.
  2. Log in to your account.
  3. Click on Homeshare Agreements and go to the agreement in which you want to put your signature.
  4. You can update your signature in 2 ways:
    • Draw the signature by clicking on "Draw" and by keeping the left mouse button pressed and drawing within the white area available right below the draw button.
    • Type out the letters of the signature by clicking on the "Type" button. You can choose the font that you want your signature to be in.
  5. Once you are happy with the signature, click on the acknowledgement checkbox and click the "Save" button to save your signature.

To update an existing signature you will have to delete the existing signature and create a new signature. You can delete a signature by clicking on the "Delete" button.

It's important to note that your updated signature will only be used for new documents, not documents that have already been digitally signed by you.
