Editing an Agreement

If the student requests changes after host signs, the host can restart the agreement to edit and re-sign.

After the agreement has been signed by the host and sent to the student for review, the student might request changes to the dates, house rules, shared amenities and spaces, etc. If the host is agreeable to these changes and would like to incorporate them into the agreement, the host can click the restart button. This will remove the electronic signature of the host from the agreement and make the agreement editable.

Once the changes are made, the agreement needs to be electronically signed once again by the host. It will then be sent to the student for their review and electronic signature.

Please note

  • Only the host can restart the agreement.
  • Any changes the student wants should be communicated to the host through the SpacesShared chat feature.
  • Restarting the agreement can be done at any point in time until the guest has electronically signed the agreement.
  • If both parties have signed the agreement and the host or guest wishes to make changes, please contact the Customer Success Team to discuss the desired modifications.
  • Restarting the agreement does not overwrite any previously made changes.

To restart an agreement: open the agreement to restart, then click Restart.
