Cancelling the Agreement

How to cancel an agreement — different paths depending on whether it's been signed by the student or not.

Cancelling the agreement is slightly different depending on the case:

  • Before the student electronically signs the agreement.
  • After the student electronically signs the agreement.

Before the student electronically signs the agreement

The host or the guest can cancel the agreement by clicking the 'Cancel Agreement' button on the top of the agreement screen. Cancelling the agreement will stop the agreement process. Once it is cancelled, it cannot be restarted. The party who initiates the cancellation must provide a reason, which is communicated to both the host and the student.

After the student has electronically signed the agreement

If a host or student wishes to cancel an agreement after it has been signed by both parties and the status is "Agreement Completed" or "Guest Moved In", they must contact Customer Support. The host or student will not be able to directly cancel the agreement from their account. The Customer Success team will then facilitate the cancellation between the Host and the Student.
