When you create a profile on our platform, you will need to upload a profile picture. This picture will be visible to others and can impact how many conversations you receive. So, it's important to choose a good profile picture that represents you and the message you want to convey.
To create a secure environment, we verify the identities of both hosts and guests using profile pictures. You can upload a picture using our in-platform photo function or by uploading an existing picture.
Photo criteria
- Headshots only.
- Your face must be visible with no coverings/masks.
- Make sure you are the only one in the photo.
How to update your profile picture
- Go to https://www.spacesshared.ca.
- Log in to your account.
- Click on "About Me" in the left-hand menu.
- Click on "Profile Picture" in the "About Me" menu.
- You can either use the in-application function to take a picture instantly by clicking on "Capture" or upload an existing picture by clicking on "Upload".
Remember, when selecting a good profile picture, choose a clear and high-quality image with good lighting and a simple background. Make sure your face is visible, and smile if possible. This can help create a positive impression on others.
